LIVING ROOM

The living room beats as the home's heart and the birthplace of its every emotion, and the eye's first anchor is the towering white geometric fireplace—a sculpted relief that grows from an earthy podium below and ascends to the very top, its surface raw and rugged yet its rhythm flawless, standing before you like art made vertical.

To the left of the fireplace, the Akari E pendant lamp echoes the space's sculptural sensibility on its own terms—light may dim, paper may age, but the warmth folded into its creases endures, gently, in quiet conspiracy with time.

At the very center of the soaring living room hangs Isamu Noguchi's Akari paper lamp, its light filtered through mulberry-fiber paper into a warm, matte glow—as if someone had reached up, plucked the moonlight from the sky, and hung it here among mortals.

The sweeping arch exists to hide an immovable load-bearing pillar—yet design's deepest poetry often dwells not in making, but in yielding; and so the pillar, now softly embraced by the wooden framework of the shelves, has become a point of quiet focus where the gaze lingers without effort.

If the wooden spiral staircase serves as the skeleton of the space, then the sweeping curve of the mezzanine corridor's handrail is almost sculptural in itself, with slender black balusters interspersed throughout—clean and sharp as ink strokes—bearing the very breath of the staircase.

Travertine marble runs through the door frames and moldings, complementing the grace of French carved double doors, and for a fleeting moment, one might almost feel as though stepping into a bygone dream of an old Parisian apartment.

STUDIO

The mezzanine accommodates a studio for four to six, where cream-textured walls meet wood veneer in layered harmony, and sunlight pours in through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors—so that even in the depths of the house, one is possessed by light.

Pushing open the door leads to a sunken courtyard, where creamy-yellow exterior paint and cement-paneled walls stand face to face, their rough textures carrying a holiday-like ease, and indoors and outdoors pass through one another—like wind drifting through an open window.

STUDY

Passing through the glass-paneled double doors, one arrives at the study—a corner reserved solely for ink brush and rice paper, so quiet that one can almost hear the ink dissolving against the inkstone; beyond the window, the planted landscape stands in sparse arrangement, while a white steel-framed staircase rises amid it all, clean and spare as a short poem left unpolished.

DRESSING ROOM

The walk-in closet marks the journey's end, where wood veneer flows across every surface, making this space feel less like a place of storage and more like a quiet wooden box, with garments hanging within as though they too have been granted the grace of being cherished.

The moon-lamp is not about possession—it is a letter written to time itself; the moon is not suspended in the sky, but hung at the heart of the living room, and every soul who steps inside becomes part of its light.
