In the Oriental aesthetics, magnolia has always been known

for its elegant style of "drinking the morning dew of

magnolia".Now, we've brought this iconic motif from the courtyard into the

interior, reimagining it through contemporary design language to create a

modern dwelling that pays homage to tradition while pointing toward the future.

● Foreword

绪言

通过流动的弧形语汇、理性克制的功能布局、

以及前卫包容的艺术表达，

让空间在圣洁白净之中，生长出令人松弛的日常诗意。

Through the flowing arc vocabulary,

rational restrained functional layout, and avant-garde inclusive artistic

expression, the space grows into a daily poetry that relaxes people in the holy and pure.

● Modern

摩登

当东方玉兰遇见摩登蓝调，

一座会生长的诗意栖居就此诞生。

硬装的色彩策略极为克制，给予了家具更多挑选的空间。

When Oriental magnolia meets modern blues, a living poetic dwelling emerges.

The color scheme of the hard-walled interior is restrained, offering greater flexibility in furniture selection.

大胆的用色手法，既契合了摩登时尚的视觉诉求，

又维系了东方美学中“淡雅”的意境，使得空间在时尚与传统之间游刃有余。

This bold color scheme not only fulfills the visual demands of modern fashion but also preserves the understated elegance

characteristic of Eastern aesthetics, creating a space that effortlessly balances contemporary style with traditional charm.

小满之境，包容生长的生活哲学。

“花看半开，酒饮微醺”，

东方美学崇尚一种恰到好处的“小满”之境。

The realm of Xiaoman, a philosophy of inclusive growth.

"Flowers half-bloomed, wine slightly intoxicating"

— Eastern aesthetics celebrates the perfect "Xiaoman" state.

空间延续“皇室白玉”大理石的白、灰、米色调系，

保持空间的圣洁感；

挂画选用克里姆特的作品，

搭配定制的金属灯具，以解构手法实现呼应，形成古今对话。

The space continues the white, gray and beige color scheme of "Royal White Jade"

marble, maintaining the sacredness of the space;The paintings are selected from

Klimt's works,and are complemented by custom-made metal lamps, achieving a

connection through deconstruction, creating a dialogue between the past and the present.

玉兰的花期短暂，其美在于盛放时的毫无保留，

也在于洁净洒脱，这正暗合了“小满”的智慧——不求盈满，

但求恰好的生命力与留白的余韵。

Magnolia's brief bloom radiates its beauty in unreserved splendor and ethereal

purity, embodying the wisdom of' Xiaoman' (Minor Fullness)

— a philosophy that seeks neither perfection nor

excess, but rather the vital balance and lingering charm of understated elegance.

展开

“展开”，

是玉兰从含蓄花苞到坦然盛放的生命过程，

我们巧妙地将这一动态转化为具体的空间语言与居住动线。

The "unfolding" is the life process of magnolia from the reserved bud to the

open bloom. We skillfully transform this dynamic into the concrete space language and living route.

主卧开间大，睡眠区与衣帽间之间，

并非一墙硬隔，

而是以弧形墙体作为过渡，模仿花瓣柔和的包裹与展开之态。

The master bedroom is spacious, and the sleeping area and wardrobe are not

separated by a wall, but by an arc wall, imitating the soft wrapping and unfolding of petals.

在柔美的形式之下，是高度理性的功能架构。

我们打破常规布局，依据居住者独特的生活轨迹重构空间.

Beneath its graceful form lies a highly rational

functional framework. We break conventional layouts,

reconstructing the space according to the unique life trajectories of its occupants.

“展开”的理念，

亦体现于空间背景墙的曲面造型，

其如画卷般舒展，使整个家居空间洋溢出呼吸感与生长性。

The concept of "expansion" is also reflected in the curved shape of the

background wall in the space, which

unfolds like a scroll, giving the entire living space a sense of breathing and growth.

非常规

茶室置于静隅独享一窗景。

它藏匿于阳台尽端，营造出“别有洞天”的静谧感，

使其成为真正远离喧嚣的沉思之所。

The tea room is located in a quiet corner with a view of the window.

It is hidden at the end of the balcony, creating

a serene atmosphere that feels like entering

a secluded paradise, making it an

ideal place for quiet contemplation away from the hustle and bustle.

一座包容生长的未来容器

以玉兰为魂，以弧形为骨，以白玉为肤。

它最终呈现的，是一种可生长的包容性。

构建了一个理性与诗意并存、当代与传统对话的居所。

它不止于呈现一种风格，更在于塑造一种能随生命律动而共同生长的生活容器。

当居住者成为空间真正的主角，设计便完成了它的使命——悄然隐退，静待花开。

A container for inclusive growth in the future

With magnolia as the soul, with an arc as the backbone, and with white jade as the

skin.What it ultimately presents is a growth-capable inclusiveness.It has constructed a dwelling where rationality

and poetry coexist, and contemporary and traditional elements dialogue with each other.It is not merely about

presenting a style; rather, it lies in shaping a living container that

can grow together with life's rhythms.When the occupants become the true protagonists of the space,

the design has fulfilled its mission - quietly fading away, waiting for the flowers to bloom.
