——烟火人间，风味长存。

The hustle and bustle of life, flavors to last.

汕头老市区的街巷，是许多汕头人的童年记忆，也是充满烟火气的城市印象。

老市区是一个开放的交流场所，它既承载了邻里生活的场景，也是商业繁荣的剪影。

华灯初上，街巷弥漫着各种美食的香气，或是各家各户的家常便饭，或是菜市场边餐厅的镬气小炒。这些不仅是一种五感的记忆，更是一种情感的传递，这种亲近感拉近了邻里间的距离，增添了街坊邻里间的市井情怀。

在老城区里穿梭，如同踏着岁月行走。我们将运用现代的设计语言再现传统，一起去回味旧时最质朴最深厚的记忆。

The streets and alleys of Shantou old downtown are the childhood memories of many Shantou people and the impression of the city full of hustle and bustle.

The old downtown area is an open communication place, which carries the scenes of neighborhood life as well as the silhouette of commercial prosperity.

When the lights come on, the streets are filled with the aroma of various cuisines, either home-cooked meals in various households or wok-fried dishes in restaurants by the food market. These are not only the memories of the five senses, but also a kind of emotional transmission, and this sense of closeness brings neighbors closer together and adds to the urban sentiment between neighbors.

Walking through the old town is like walking through the years. We will use modern design language to reproduce the tradition, and together we will recall the most rustic and deepest memories of the old times.

人来人往的街巷、商住一体的骑楼、乱中有序的招牌、熙熙攘攘的菜市场…

沿着老市区的小路，我们走向繁华记忆的深处。

The streets and alleys are crowded with people, the commercial and residential buildings, the signboards are organized in a chaotic manner, the bustling food market...

Along the path of the old downtown, we walk towards the depths of the prosperous memory.

现代化的小区，邻里关系被弱化，大家都关起门来“自成一派”。

而老市区的骑楼是邻里的空间。闲暇时刻，大家在楼下与邻居好友冲茶、聊天；夜幕降临，摆上饭桌，更是聚餐的好场地。谈笑间，骑楼里洋溢着邻里之间温暖的气息。

错落有致的招牌具有丰富的视觉语言。各式林立的手写招牌，充满人情味，是与过往人群沟通的媒介，也是城市人文记忆的载体。

我们从这些市井生活中提取不同的镜头，在空间设计中充分演绎，通过格局、动线、场景去表达关于汕头的骑楼印象，生动叙述一种置身其中的沉浸式体验。

In modern neighborhoods, neighborhoods are weakened, and everyone closes their doors to live their life.

The old downtown area is a space for neighbors. Idle moments, everyone downstairs with neighbors and friends brewing tea, chatting. Nightfall, set the table, it is a good venue for dinners. Between laughter and talk, the arcade is filled with the warmth of neighbors.

Staggered signboards have a rich visual language. Handwritten signboards of various styles, full of human touch, are the medium of communication with people passing by and the carrier of the city's humanistic memory.

We extracted different shots from these urban life and fully interpreted them in the spatial design, expressing the impression of Shantou's arcades through the pattern, movement and scene, and vividly recounting the immersive experience of being there.

表达/Expression

——分镜式场景演绎空间次序

Split-scene interpretation of spatial order

我们运用电影分镜的方式来处理空间设计，让空间画面跟随动线有节奏地跳转切换。

We use the movie sub-scene to deal with the space design, so that the space picture follows the moving line rhythmically jumping and switching.

骑楼是一种以人为本的建筑，它们成排而建、相互依附，每家的走廊彼此互通，呈现着连贯的邻里形态。

生活化的骑楼记录着人生百态——楼下的连廊空间被各式店铺与招牌点缀，楼上的各扇窗户内上演着不同的生活故事。

骑楼的罗马柱、窗户、招牌，我们提取这些生活碎片，融入到项目门面的设计中。这些多元的碎片化元素营造了一种乱中有序的感觉，打破了传统的设计规则，将生活的故事在设计中延展下去。

Arcades are human-centered buildings, built in rows and attached to each other, with the corridors of each house interconnecting, presenting a coherent neighborhood pattern.

Lifestyle is recorded in these buildings - the downstairs corridors are dotted with stores and signboards, while the upstairs windows are filled with different stories of life.

The Roman columns, windows and signboards of the arcade are extracted and integrated into the design of the project facade. These diversified and fragmented elements create a sense of order amidst chaos, breaking the traditional rules of design and extending the story of life in the design.

日常生活不外乎柴米油盐、果蔬肉菜，而与之最密切的便是菜市场。

餐厅的明档设计延续了充满烟火气的菜市场。菜市场是最能直接反映在地饮食文化与消费习惯的场所，多种品类的选择性也与极具包容性的大排档相匹配，不管同行人有什么忌口，都能在包罗万象的大排档里找到最适合自己的餐食。

传统的菜市场档口上方常被用来储物，在视觉上显得很杂乱，但这又是菜市场独有的视觉记忆。我们将这种凌乱美融入到设计中，抽象化为一个竹艺装置，同时也可作为明档的招牌，在加深空间的纵深感的同时，也表达出菜市场的陈列美学。

Daily life consists of basic necessities of life, and the closest thing to them is the food market.

The design of the restaurant is a continuation of the market. Vegetable markets are the most direct reflection of the local food culture and consumption habits, and the variety of choices is also compatible with the very inclusive Dai Pai Dong, so that no matter what taboos fellow travelers have, they can find the most suitable meal in the all-encompassing Dai Pai Dong.

Traditionally, the tops of food market stalls are often used for storage, making them visually cluttered, but again, this is a visual memory unique to food markets. We incorporated this cluttered beauty into the design, abstracting it into a bamboo installation that also serves as a signboard for the stalls, deepening the depth of the space while expressing the aesthetics of the vegetable market display.

汕头人习惯将批发零售合一的商铺称为“岛”，曾经的“岛内”街区人头攒动，是许多汕头人儿时逢年过节、初一十五逛街购物的美好回忆。我们将餐厅里的海鲜档口打造为“鱼岛”，以鲜明的视觉营造出独特的用餐体验。

Shantou people used to call the wholesale and retail stores as " Dao", the once crowded "Dao Nei" neighborhood is the beautiful memory of many Shantou people's childhood when they went shopping on New Year's Day and the first fifteen days of the lunar calendar. We created the seafood stalls in the restaurant as "Yu Dao" to create a unique dining experience with a distinctive vision.

一楼的用餐区，我们运用了在菜市场边随性的用餐场景，一种就地取材、与菜市场共生的氛围油然而生。

复古的折叠椅和马赛克瓷砖延续了菜市场的视觉连续性，灯具也由汕头传统的竹编油纸灯笼进行现代化设计而成，成为记忆沉淀下的一抹红。

这些市井视觉元素让顾客仿佛置身于记忆中的老店，真实、鲜活又独具人情味。

For the dining area on the first floor, we utilized the casual dining scene by the vegetable market, and an atmosphere of local ingredients and symbiosis with the vegetable market was born.

Retro folding chairs and mosaic tiles continue the visual continuity of the market, and the lamps are modernized from the traditional Shantou bamboo oil paper lanterns, which become a touch of red in the memory.

These visual elements of the marketplace make customers feel like they are in an old store in their memories, which is real, vivid and uniquely humanized.

沿着多折的楼梯向上走，如同来到了儿时的天台，和小伙伴一起在骑楼间穿梭探索的欢乐仍记忆犹新。

在材质上，我们选择了最具特色的水洗石，映出关于汕头民居的印象。

在楼梯的串联下，各个空间如电影情节般按序展开。

Walking up the winding staircase is like coming to the rooftop of childhood, and the joy of exploring among the arcades with your friends is still fresh in your mind.

In terms of material, we chose the most characteristic washed stone to reflect the impression of Shantou's residential area.

Under the staircase, each space unfolds sequentially like a movie plot.

夏夜，街坊们习惯在门前架上饭桌，大家围拢而坐，在欢声笑语中，就着路灯与微风分享美食。

我们将这个场景搬进餐厅二楼的用餐区内，这种随意但不随便的相聚方式颇具人情味，也恰好契合当下年轻人喜欢的街头氛围。

On summer nights, neighbors used to set up a dining table in front of the door, and sit around it, sharing a meal under the streetlight and in the breeze with laughter.

We moved this scene into the dining area on the second floor of the restaurant. This casual but not so casual way of gathering is quite humane, and it also fits the street atmosphere that young people like nowadays.

夜深，意犹未尽的人们也会约上三两好友，在骑楼下的商铺继续把酒言欢。

这是一个灵活的空间——拉开卷闸门，是白天的对外营业；半拉下卷闸门，是属于今夜好友相聚的私人空间。

半拉下的卷闸门内不时传出欢声笑语，我们把这种熟络亲切的感觉复制到餐厅的包厢设计中，市井气息浓厚的卷闸门带给人们情感的回忆，敞开门与老市区融为一体，拉上门又是属于邻里朋友间的小天地。

Late at night, people will also get together with three or two friends, in the stores under the arcade to continue to talk about wine.

This is a flexible space - pull open the shutter door, is the daytime business; half pull down the shutter door, is belong to the night friends get together in private space.

Laughter comes out from time to time from the half-drawn door, and we replicate this feeling of familiarity and cordiality in the design of the restaurant's private rooms. The door with its strong urban atmosphere brings people emotional memories, and the open door blends with the old downtown area, while the closed door is a small world belonging to the neighbors and friends.

大排档，是城市夜幕下的标志，也是城市生生不息的活力来源。

设计串联起市井生活百态，真挚地表达出充满烟火气息的城市美学。

在这个新旧交织的空间里，烟火气与松弛感层层递进，重构属于今夜的精神归属感。

The Dai Pai Dong, a symbol of the city at night, is also a source of vitality for the city's endless life.

The design connects all kinds of life in the city and sincerely expresses the aesthetics of the city full of hustle and bustle.

In this space where the old and the new are intertwined, the hustle and bustle and the sense of relaxation progressively reconstruct the sense of belonging to the spirit of the night.

我们利用大排档特质做场景，拢起城市的烟火气息，让现代设计与传统人文碰撞，产生独特的化学反应，构建具有汕头生活印象的空间序列。

We utilize the qualities of the Dai Pai Dong as a scene to gather the hustle and bustle of the city, and let the modern design collide with the traditional humanities to produce a unique chemical reaction and build a space sequence with the impression of Shantou's life.

We use our design language to vividly narrate the rhythmic lines of movement and build an immersive experience through a dynamic narrative space.

A sense of place meets here, and memories flow through the space like a movie replay.
