一件衣服，我们会讨论它合不合身，适不适合您的气质。其实，家亦如此，它将是一个更大的容器，容纳了您更多的偏好与可能。所以，它更应该与您的状态、性情、气质相关。甚至每一个尺度，每一处心思，每一片色彩都将与您相关。

For example, with a jacket, we think about whether it fits and whether the fit is right.In fact, the home is also like a jacket, it will be a bigger container for more of your preferences and possibilities.Therefore, it should be more related to your state, disposition and temperament. Even every piece, every idea and every piece of color will be related to you.

我们常说，私宅设计的核心，在于信任。也因为只有在获得足够信任的时候，我们才能相互认知，同频。并在有限的时间里，获取到业主最真实、全面的有效信息，从而给出最合适的解决方案。

We usually say that the core of private home design lies in the trust between the client and the designer.And because only when we gain enough trust can we recognize each other.And in a limited time, to obtain the most real, comprehensive and effective information about the owner, so as to give the most appropriate solution.

刘宅的成功，便得益于此。我们与业主相识，其实并非是因为设计服务而开始的。业主是一家私人博物馆的馆长，亦是我们17-18年间办公室的房东。故此，我们彼此都有了一个认识对方和了解对方的基础。于是，在21年的时候，我们接到了业主的邀请，参与本次精装房的改造设计工作。

The success of Liu's private house is attributed to this. In fact, our acquaintance with owner didn't start because of design services.The owner is the curator of a private museum and the landlord of our office during 2017-2018. So, we had a foundation of getting to know each other and understanding each other. So, in 2021, we received an invitation from the owner to participate in the remodeling design of this home.

得益于我们对业主的长期认知理解。我们认为，业主是一个极具个性的独立女性，有着鲜明的个人气质。所以，我们也第一次将业主的状态与气质，作为了我们设计的主题。

Based on our long-term cognitive understanding of the owner. We believe that the owner is a highly individualized independent woman with a distinctive personal character. Therefore, for the first time, we also took the owner's state and character as the theme of our design.

让空间气质与人物气质完美融合，其实是极难的。因为这不仅仅是一种装饰手段，而是需要通过对空间的氛围、色彩的基调、尺度的把控、以及器物的选择去传递这室内的一切都与业主之间有着紧密的关联。家，也不再是冰冷的场景，它将因为主人的参与，而显得更加的生动与完整。

It is actually extremely difficult to make the space temperament blend perfectly with the owner's temperament.Because it is not only a decorative technique, but through the atmosphere of the space, the tone of the color, the control of the space, as well as the choice of furniture furnishings to convey that everything in the interior has a close relationship with the owners.Home, no longer a cold scene, it will be more vivid and complete because of the participation of the owner.

精装

Semi-furnished house

精装房的改造分为两种形式。其一是全盘推翻，从新来过；其二是在原有基础上，做最大化的优化调整，从而得到意想不到的惊喜效果。

The remodeling of Semi-furnished house is divided into two forms. One is to give up the original altogether and start from scratch; the other is to make maximum optimization adjustments on the original foundation, so as to get unexpected and surprising results.

本案便属于这第二种模式。所以，该精改项目的核心，不在于改，而是在于尊重。尊重原建筑的特点与优势，尊重原建筑材质的特点和特性，尊重原建筑水电的设置逻辑等等。所以在充分的理解原设计背景后，我们几乎未对原建筑做过多的拆改工作，而只是在原始基础之上，进行了添置与粉饰。这不仅能保证我们所想呈现的效果，亦能获得最为经济的改造条件。当然，不对原建筑进行破坏，也在一定程度上，保障了后期的使用与维护。这是设计师，最需要思考的地方。

The present case falls within the second pattern.Therefore, the core of this project is not in changing, but in respecting the characteristics and advantages of the original building, respect for the characteristics and features of the original building materials, respect for the logic of the original building plumbing and electrical settings and so on.

So after fully understanding the background of the original design, we almost didn't do too much demolition work to the original building, but only added and decorated on the original foundation. This not only guarantees the effect we want to present, but also achieves the most economical remodeling conditions. Of course, not to destroy the original building, but also to a certain extent, to ensure the use and maintenance later. This is the most important thing for designers to think about.
