KPF设计的建筑灵感来源于在九寨沟的看到流泉、叠瀑、五彩池，被自然美景触发，之后一路西行，到达敦煌时，被流沙所震撼。外立面受到中国大自然景观的启发，纵向模仿流水、叠瀑、明泉等自然景观柔美流畅的线条，横向连续飘带的柔美造型设计则来源于敦煌流沙的灵感。

The architectural inspiration designed by KPF comes from seeing flowing springs, stacked waterfalls, and colorful ponds in Jiuzhaigou. They were triggered by the natural beauty. The façade is inspired by the natural landscape of China, imitating the soft and smooth lines of natural landscapes such as flowing water, stacked waterfalls, and Mingquan vertically, and the soft and smooth design of horizontal continuous streamers is inspired by Dunhuang quicksand.

SWA作为国际顶级园林设计单位，拥有全球的国际性视野。在设计T7园林时，参考苏州拙政园的园林设计手法，在北区园林设计中引入“镜、花、水、月”的元素，并将黄龙彩池的概念引入设计中，精巧别致、水质明丽的池群，沉积下三千余个层层叠连的像梯田一样排列的钙化彩池，彩池内泉水清澈见底，蓝天，白云，绿树和雪峰倒映其中，经太阳余辉点染，反射出不同的色彩，交相辉映，美不胜收！

空中花园的整体灯光由国际顶级灯光设计顾问LPA进行设计，其也是中国国家大剧院灯光设计顾问。整个灯光设计萃取大自然的灵感，通过对水景、点景树、路径、树篱等园林景物进行月光照明（泛光照明）、室内透光、水景光钎照明、上射照明等特殊照明，营造花园旖旎静谧的生活氛围。在泳池区域采用非日常的照明方式来强调泳池整体曲线景观特色。

天元的体验中心由国际顶级设计团队Adeas进行设计，走进接待前厅，即见山水流云现于眼前，选取灰色大理石，青睐于水泥灰的高级与粗粝质感，营造出山的形态，将灯具接待台的景隐喻为重峦叠嶂的流云与山石。亚克力与金属错落的灯具，将光线弥漫开来，投映在石材与地面上，渲染出现代的质朴美感。
